Europa Donna Slovenia is working together with Avon and other supporters to carry out a project called “Lep je dan” (It is a Beautiful Day) this October. The aim of the project is to emphasize the fact that life indeed is beautiful, even if you are fighting breast cancer.

Among other features of the project is a series of photographs titled “Lep je dan” by Tomaž Levstek, which shows a positive image of breast cancer patients and survivors. The photographs are black and white waist-up portraits. Each portrait shows a woman with a pink ribbon across her chest and comes with a message that appeals to all women to take care of their breasts. The portraits will raise awareness in renowned department stores and shops in Ljubljana and Maribor. Zvezda will also host this exhibition from 20 October to 2 November.jana
